At Mount Safa International School, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom. Our Co-Curricular Activities program plays a vital role in developing well-rounded individuals equipped with essential life skills, discipline, and unwavering confidence.
Co-Curricular Activities complement classroom learning by providing students with opportunities to engage in teamwork, leadership, and personal growth. These carefully designed programs align with our core values of academic excellence and character building.
Through active participation in our CCA programs, students not only excel academically but also develop into well-balanced individuals prepared to face future challenges with confidence and resilience.
Currently, Mount Safa International School offers three engaging and comprehensive co-curricular programs designed to develop physical fitness, mental discipline, and leadership qualities.
Karate is more than just a martial art—it is a discipline that instills self-defense skills, mental focus, and physical prowess. Students who participate in our Karate program develop strength, agility, and resilience through structured training sessions.
The practice of Karate helps build confidence and improve self-control, essential values that align with our school's mission to nurture well-rounded individuals capable of facing life's challenges.
Swimming is an essential life skill that promotes fitness, endurance, and water safety awareness. Our comprehensive swimming program provides students with opportunities to enhance their coordination, stamina, and overall physical health.
Through regular training sessions, students not only build physical strength but also cultivate perseverance and determination—qualities that are beneficial both inside and outside the classroom environment.
Kadet Remaja Sekolah (KRS) is a distinguished uniformed youth organization that emphasizes leadership development, discipline, and patriotism. Through various activities including outdoor survival training, community service, and teamwork-based exercises, students develop responsibility and a strong sense of duty.
KRS equips students with invaluable leadership skills while encouraging them to contribute positively to society and serve their community with dedication and honor.
Participation in our CCA programs provides students with essential life skills that extend far beyond the activities themselves.
Students learn to take initiative, make decisions, and guide their peers through collaborative activities and challenges.
Regular training instills self-discipline, time management, and the ability to maintain focus on long-term goals.
Working together towards common objectives teaches students the value of collaboration and mutual support.
Achieving milestones and overcoming challenges builds self-esteem and confidence in their abilities.

Our CCA programs are open to students from Year 1 to Year 6. Karate and Swimming accept students from all year levels, while KRS is typically for Year 4-6 students. Specific age groups may be organized for optimal learning experiences.
Most CCA sessions are conducted once or twice per week after regular school hours. Each session typically lasts 60-90 minutes. The specific schedule varies by activity and will be communicated to parents at the beginning of each term.
While we strongly encourage all students to participate in at least one CCA for their holistic development, participation is not mandatory. However, we have found that students who engage in CCAs demonstrate improved social skills, discipline, and overall well-being.
Each CCA has specific requirements. For Karate, students will need a gi (uniform) and protective equipment. Swimming requires swimwear, goggles, and a towel. KRS members wear a designated uniform. Detailed equipment lists will be provided upon enrollment.
Parents can enroll their children through the school administration office or by contacting us directly. Enrollment forms are available at the beginning of each academic term. Spaces are limited, so early registration is recommended.
